Hiring: Structural Draftsman

 Location: Bahria Town Phase 08, Rawalpindi
 Salary: PKR80,000-120,000/month
Experience: 2+ years
We are looking for an experienced Structural Draftsman to prepare accurate structural drawings and support our design and site teams.

Key Duties:
  • Prepare structural drawings (foundation, framing, reinforcement/rebar layouts) based on engineer's designs and calculations
  • Convert structural engineer's sketches and specifications into detailed, construction-ready drawings
  • Prepare and update shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and detailing for RCC/steel structures
  • Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve design discrepancies
  • Check dimensions, tolerances, and structural details for accuracy before issuing for construction
  • Revise drawings based on site feedback, design changes, or engineer's instructions
  • Maintain organized drawing records, revisions, and version control
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and structural standards


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in structural drafting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); knowledge of Revit, Tekla, or STAAD is a plus
  • Strong understanding of RCC and/or steel structural detailing, reinforcement, and bar bending schedules
  • Good understanding of structural drawings, load paths, and construction details
  • Ability to read and interpret structural engineer's calculations and sketches
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills with engineers and site teams


Preferred Candidate:
 A detail-oriented draftsman with solid RCC/steel detailing experience who can work closely with structural engineers and site teams to deliver accurate, construction-ready drawings.
