Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Visual Designer to own and elevate APIMatic’s brand identity across all touchpoints. This role is ideal for someone passionate about modern, minimalist design and experienced in product branding, digital marketing, and print media, with the added ability to create engaging animations and edit videos for social media and product marketing. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure a cohesive, impactful, and dynamic visual presence for APIMatic, both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of visual assets for branding, social media, advertisements, product launches, and print collateral.
• Develop and maintain APIMatic’s visual brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to deliver compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for web, email, and events.
• Design product branding assets, including packaging, product visuals, and launch materials, with a focus on modern minimalism.
• Create engaging content for social media, driving brand awareness and user engagement.
• Produce and edit short-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
• Develop basic animations and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling across digital platforms.
• Oversee the production of print materials (brochures, posters, event banners) and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain a library of video and animation assets, ensuring they are organised and accessible.
• Stay current with design and multimedia trends, tools, and best practices, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to other creative projects (photography, video, motion graphics) as per skillset.
• Promote a culture of design excellence and brand stewardship within the organisation.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in visual design, branding, or a related field, preferably in a product-driven or SaaS environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in modern minimalist design, product branding, and multi-channel campaigns, including examples of animations and edited videos.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar).
• Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, and design principles.
• Experience designing for both digital and print media.
• Must have the ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity, optimize processes, and contribute to our long-term AI-led growth goals.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
