About Flipdish

At Flipdish, we’re proud to be an Irish unicorn (valued at over $1bn) on a mission to help independent restaurants flippin’ thrive in a world transformed by technology. While Flipdish has grown rapidly, our focus has always remained on our customers and their needs. We’re more than just an all-in-one technology ecosystem—we’re a team deeply committed to supporting the people behind the food industry.

We go the extra mile to truly understand our customers (even putting our C-suite to work on the frontlines). With roots in the industry, we’ve worked in busy kitchens and managed thriving restaurant franchises.

At Flipdish, we give independent operators and chains the tools to compete, grow on their own terms, and fall back in love with what they do best.

Note: This role requires strong English communication skills (written and verbal), as English is our primary working language.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to take ownership of Flipdish.com, our corporate website and a key brand asset. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimising the site to ensure it delivers best-in-class user experience, performance, and scalability.

Craft CMS experience is highly desirable, as is a keen eye for design detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in sprint cycles. You will work closely with marketing, design, and other business stakeholders to ensure Flipdish.com consistently reflects our brand and supports our global growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Flipdish.com, ensuring updates, security, uptime, and stability.
  • Handle hosting, server setup, Cloudflare, domains, SSL certificates, and backups.
  • Build and update landing pages using Twig templates and SCSS.
  • Ensure website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
  • Implement and maintain basic technical SEO (meta tags, redirects, sitemaps, structured data).
  • Manage website forms and integrations with internal tools (e.g. CRM, analytics, marketing platforms).
  • Improve UI/UX of existing pages in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and management to deliver updates on time.
  • Conduct thorough QA and testing before deploying changes.
  • Our expectations: To challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working. Constructive challenge is a responsibility. Prioritising harmony over truth or progress is a failure of responsibility.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in web development.
  • Familiarity with Craft CMS or willingness to learn (resources provided).
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Twig templates.
  • Experience with hosting, DNS, Cloudflare, and SSL management.
  • Understanding of website performance optimisation and responsive design.
  • Basic knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
  • Good communication & research skills and ability to work 1 PM – 9 PM PKT to align with business stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

What we value

  • Ownership and accountability for a high-profile corporate website.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for creating seamless digital experiences.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Our culture

At this point, you might expect the usual spiel about how great a place Flipdish is to work at and how great our work culture is (and it is!). But, this all depends on our employees. And that’s because we trust our employees to define what sort of an employer Flipdish is.

Transparency is hugely important to us. We listen to one another. We collaborate. And we give everyone a way to grow their careers through a supportive environment.

We’re focused on getting the most out of our time together, output and team energy is at the heart of our hub based philosophy - not an attendance ticking exercise!

So, if you want to join a genuinely friendly team, take a look at our current openings and get in touch. And if you don’t see an opening just yet, do get in touch and register your interest with us anyway. We’ll be in touch as soon as something suitable opens up.

Don’t be shy. Apply.

We know that imposter syndrome can be a thing. Don’t let it be. We want enthusiastic people from all backgrounds. If you feel like you’re up for working with us, get in touch.

We also understand neurodivergent candidates might need assistance. That’s not a problem in the slightest. Just reach out to us, we’d love to hear from you.
