Accounts Executive



Responsibilities

  • :Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness, verify against purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies. Enter invoices into the accounting system with proper coding
  • .Maintain accurate and organized records of all payable transactions
  • .Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable
  • .Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • .Schedule and prepare payment runs, including cheques, digital payment transfers, and other methods. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and obligations
  • .Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status, payment inquiries, and other reconciliation issues
  • .Monitor and review expense reports for accuracy and adherence to company policies
  • .Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • .Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls related to the payable process

.Qualifications

  • :Master’s degree in Commerce (M. Com) or Bachelor's (Hons) degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education
  • .Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable; CA firm experience is preferred
  • .Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
  • .Experience with SAP ERP systems is preferred
  • .Strong attention to detail and accurac
  • yExcellent organizational and record-keeping skill
  • sEffective communication skills for vendor interactions
  • .Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during peak periods
  • .Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting standards
