The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. This role involves assisting in financial record-keeping, tax compliance, and supporting the team in daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments
- Support in bank reconciliation, cash flow management, and expense tracking
- Assist in tax filings, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and maintain organized records
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support budgeting activities
- Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements as needed
- Stay updated on accounting best practices and industry trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0 to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Zoho Expenses)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
