Accounts Payable Executive

Based in ACS's Lahore office, you will support Middle East, UK, and EU-based clients as a remote accountant. This role requires working in a relevant time zone.

The Role

This is an opportunity for bright young accountants who want to excel in their careers as accounts payable and financial operations specialists. The selected candidate will assist the client's accounts payable manager or the financial manager in managing the accounts payable function for the client company.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable function, including receiving and posting vendor invoices and managing payment runs.
• Process accounts payable & related accounting transactions. Collect, analyze, and interpret accounting records for bookkeeping purposes.
• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable team, including supervising staff, managing workflows, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments.
• Ensure financial deadlines are met, and customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports for management.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual audit.
• Perform any other cognate duties.
  
  

Qualifications, Experience, And Skills

• ACCA qualified (or part qualified only if the experience exceeds two years).
• At least one-year post-qualification accounts payable experience.
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
• Strong communication, accounting / analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Work under pressure independently, effectively prioritize and manage time & workload to meet clients’ needs.
  
  

Salary

Starting From PKR 130,000 (gross) per month with upward adjustment for experience level.
