Since our launch, we became the first company for Pakistan funded by Y Combinator, raised seed capital and further financing from Kleiner Perkins, and — most importantly — have served over 100,000 stores.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 0-2 years of work experience.
• Proficient in using Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
• Strong ethical standards and highest level of integrity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passionate about working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  
  

What you will do

• Own the payables function and vendor management.
• Ensure timely and verified vendor payments.
• Monitor the cash conversion cycle and assist in working capital management.
• Document reasoning and perform re-computation of back margins.
• Reconcile vendor balances at regular intervals and maintain accuracy.
• Prepare month-end balance reports and perform aging analysis.
• Work closely with the taxation team on deduction and timely payment of vendor withholding taxes, timely issuance of debit / credit notes to vendors.
• Handle end-to-end bookkeeping for accounts payable, withholding taxes, back margins, and inventory.
• Assist in month-end accounting close and reconcile all designated bank accounts.
