This position reports to

Country Holding Officer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage ABB security programs in your assigned area of responsibility in Pakistan, under the guidance of the Region/Country Security Manager or the local business management. Each day, you will provide risk-appropriate security advice and guidance and monitors the implementation of security standards, processes, and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by providing consulting services on risk assessment and solutions/guidance to mitigate those risks. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Motion in Pakistan. You will be mainly accountable for: Contributing to the capability build-up in the team, using your subject matter expertise and skills to advise the lead business on ways to secure and protect assets, people, and business operations. Monitoring, responding to, managing and, where appropriate, escalating all business travel/security-related incidents and risks. Acting as the subject matter expert for the management teams on security matters, in your assigned area of responsibility. Conducting employee interviews on security incidents, with the relevant parties and recording the findings in the prescribed format.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in Business Administration, Security Management, International Trade, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in administrative management, security operations, or trade compliance.
  • Experience in a multinational environment and understanding of international trade compliance requirements are preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Physical Security Professional) are desirable.
  • Training or certification in trade compliance is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international trade regulations, import/export compliance, and relevant security laws.
  • Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources effectively, and drive compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of national and international security standards, trade compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of other local or relevant languages is a plus.
