Assistant Engineer

Job Purpose:

To perform routine CM/PM activities on assigned grid and ensure its smooth operations while ensuring the people management of NMS.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities:

• To carry out the instruction given by Assistant Managers
• Elaborate task to be performed, provide written SOP (if available) to NMS and ensure timely dispatching
• Supervise NMS during execution of job, ensure discipline and provide necessary technical support
• Support AMs during installation, augmentation, testing, commissioning & fault rectification of equipements and their preventive maintenance
• To remain on call 24/7 and ensure quick response incase emergency/ breakdowns
• Support AMs in administrative tasks like (inventory & scrap management, logistic arrangement, vehicle management etc.)
• Keep a record of equipment healthiness status, identify developing faults and take remedial actions (wherever possible)
• Ensure implementation of safety guidelines & identify and mitigate hazards at grid stations
  
  

Knowledge And Skills:

• D.A.E (Electrical ) or relevant qualification from H.E.C Recognized Institute
• At least 03 Years in a power utility or in a process industry is preferred however other experience holders are also encouraged to apply
