Job Purpose

To lead and oversee HSE programs, planning, and implementation at the Faisalabad plant to ensure legal compliance, safeguard employee well-being, minimize operational risks, and foster a positive safety culture across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Closely work under the leadership of the Head of HSE to roll-out the NFL HSE strategy at the Faisalabad Plant.
• Provide technical HSE consultation and lead the design, development, implementation, and oversight of HSE programs and procedures to protect people, planet, and surrounding communities, ensuring full regulatory compliance at Faisalabad Plant.
• Develop and enforce HSE policies and standards tailored to the plant’s requirements. Assist the Head of Plant in implementing HSE goals and provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination of all HSE and OHS activities. Also support the Head of Plant in management decisions as needed.
• Capable of managing both direct and indirect teams, while overseeing safety-critical contractors and service providers to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Work within the assigned plant to ensure adherence to all regulatory standards related to HSE through routine inspections to assess compliance
• Continuously assess the workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to the Plant Head.
• Regularly communicate with the manufacturing team in the plant to address any safety-related issues, implementing response protocols to identify and rectify safety deviations in collaboration with the Head of Plant
• Monitor and report on safety-related incidents, ensuring a thorough investigation and implementation of corrective actions
• Conduct the HSE induction for new joiners to introduce the latest HSE standards, policies, and procedures of NFL
• Plan and deliver workshops to educate management and employees on HSE policies and guidelines, addressing any non-compliance in a timely manner
• Ensure emergency response plans are fully implemented and carry out drills in the plant to ensure employees understand protocols and procedures in the event of an emergency
• Oversee the provision of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and related HSE apparatus such as uniforms, first aid, fire extinguishers, etc. for safety assurance
• Report any safety-related incidents to the Head of HSE to further investigate and facilitate decision-making
• Maintain comprehensive records of all HSE-related activities to the Head of HSE, providing updates on HSE compliance, incidents, and improvement initiatives
  
  

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 8-10 years of experience
• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 5-8 years of experience
