Phaedra Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Business Developer – Upwork Bidder to join our Business Development team. If you have at least up to 1 year of experience in bidding on platforms like Upwork and a passion for international client acquisition in the tech services domain, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
You will be responsible for identifying quality leads, writing winning proposals, and helping close deals while collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment.
Lead Generation & Bidding
- Identify and bid on relevant projects via Upwork and similar platforms.
- Draft tailored, high-quality proposals to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain bid logs and follow up with prospects.
- Collaborate with tech teams for accurate scoping and estimates.
- Analyze job posts and client profiles to refine bidding strategies.
- Track key metrics like response rate and success ratio.
Communication & Strategy
- Support in pitch deck preparation and profile optimization.
- Keep the team updated on lead status and client communication.
- Stay informed on platform trends and policy updates.
- Suggest ways to improve templates and outreach effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Upwork bidding or freelancing platform experience.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of software development services (web/mobile/SaaS).
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, HubSpot, MS Office.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and target-driven.
- Good with time management and multitasking.
- Quick learner with a growth mindset.
- Work with an experienced team on global business development.
- Sharpen your skills in proposal writing, lead generation, and client handling.
