Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Data Engineer to join our business intelligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates passionate about data and eager to start a career in data engineering.
What You Will Be Expected To Perform
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Write clean, efficient code in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Utilize SQL/MySQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain data models and warehouses.
- Apply design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Monitor and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
- Strong understanding of Python and libraries such as Pandas.
- Proficiency in SQL/MySQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts, design patterns, and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing principles and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You should have a genuine interest in working with data and solving complex challenges.
- Be eager to learn new tools, technologies, and best practices in data engineering.
- Pay attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data and pipelines.
- Be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to shared goals.
- Take initiative to explore innovative solutions and stay updated on industry trends.
- Be confident in using Python, SQL/MySQL, and other relevant data tools.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, software developers, and business intelligence teams to ensure seamless data operations.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Work on solving challenges related to large-scale data processing, optimization, and system reliability.
- Operate with guidance but take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
- Ensure the timely delivery of optimized data pipelines, reliable ETL processes, and well-documented solutions.
