Associate Data Scientist

JOB SUMMARY:

TenX is expanding their Data Science team, and is hiring a technical and customer facing associate data scientist to manage end-to-end client data science projects. An Ideal candidate will have real-world hands-on experience working with data and applying machine learning algorithms across a breadth of modern technology platforms. He/She is customer focused and practical, enjoy rapid and changing projects and have strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, communication skills and a collaborative work style.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Usage of machine learning tools and statistical techniques to develop appropriate analytic solutions.
• Better understand company needs and devise possible solutions by collaborating with product management and engineering departments
• Communicate results and statistical concepts to key business leaders
• Envisioning Data Points (Features) and building Aggregate Data Set (ADS)
• Use appropriate databases and project designs to optimize joint development efforts
• Develop custom data models and algorithms
• Build processes and tools to help monitor and analyze performance and data accuracy
• Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
• Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind
• Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers
• Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience.

Qualification:

• BS in Computer Science, BIT, BBIT, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Cross-industry knowledge (Financial, Insurance, Sports, Healthcare)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming, Data Wrangling, Data Visualization & Exploration
