Audit Intern

●Support the planning and execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the

approved annual audit plan by assisting in defining scope, objectives, and testing

procedures in coordination with senior auditors.

● Perform detailed audit fieldwork including process walkthroughs, data gathering, control

evaluations, and transaction testing to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.

● Maintain comprehensive and organized audit working papers, prepare supporting

evidence documentation, and assist in the drafting of audit reports outlining key findings

and actionable recommendations.

● Analyze business processes to identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies,

and potential risks, and contribute to the development of corrective action plans.

● Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to collect data, validate observations, clarify

procedures, and support audit conclusions.

● Assist in conducting compliance, financial, and operational audits under supervision,

ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory standards, and professional auditing

practices.

● Stay updated with relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and auditing standards

to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement in audit processes.

● Participate in follow-up reviews to assess the status and effectiveness of implemented

audit recommendations, and report outstanding issues to the audit lead or management.

●CA / ACCA (in progress); Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business

●Administration, or a related field (completed or in progress)

● Basic understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

● Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● High level of integrity and professional ethics.

● Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
