As a Backend Intern with expertise in Generative AI, you will collaborate with our engineering and AI research teams to build and optimize core backend services that power AI-driven applications. You'll get hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure, and models like GPT, LLaMA, or Stable Diffusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs for AI-based products.
• Integrate generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, or custom-trained models) into backend workflows.
• Work with databases, task queues, and storage systems to manage AI input/output and model data.
• Optimize performance and scalability for inference and data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend, ML and DevOps teams to ensure seamless user experiences and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in backend development using Python, Node.js, or Golang.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and message queues (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Experience (academic or project-based) working with Generative AI models like GPT, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, or similar.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Working knowledge of Git and containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js (Express, NestJS), Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience deploying or fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
