Brand Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy for the allocated brand that helps NFL in building brand awareness, driving customer engagement and growing market share
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy to build, protect and enhance the allocated category in accordance with NFL’s overall business objectives
- Oversee the management of the allocated category product portfolio which includes monitoring product performance, identifying opportunities for product improvements, and managing product life cycles
- Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation of the allocated category
- Develop and execute brand plans for the allocated category which includes developing the brand positioning, messaging, and marketing activities that effectively communicate the brand's value proposition to the target audience
- Collaborate with QIRD, finance and Sales teams to develop the pricing strategy for all products within the allocated category
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products or enhance existing products that are aligned with the overall strategy for the allocated brand which includes management of the full product lifecycle
- Plan and execute the launch of new products within the category, including positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Define and develop the brand's visual elements, including logo, packaging, and design, to ensure consistency and recognition in the market
- Collaborate with Marcoms teams to design and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities that increase brand awareness and drive sales within the allocated category
- Work closely with the Sales teams to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell the products in the allocated category e.g. sales materials, training programs, and incentives
- Collaborate with departments across NFL such as QIRD, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of strategies and plans related to the allocated category
- Develop and manage the category budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to achieve the desired business outcomes
- Monitor, track and report on KPIs for the allocated category and prepare regular management reports on the performance of all products within the allocated category
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, retail partners, and distributors

Background Requirements:
Education: Graduate
Experience: 8-10 years relevant experience preferred.
