We are looking for a Business Development Manager in based in either Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City to expand our presence in the Vietnam market, focusing on Payment and FX solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and managing the full sales cycle. This is a high-impact, results-driven role in a fast-paced and innovative environment.


What you’ll be spending your time on:

1. Business Growth & Sales Execution

• Identify, engage, and acquire new business clients to expand SUNRATE’s portfolio in Pakistan.

• Develop and implement strategies to drive new business opportunities in key market segments.

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, contract negotiation, onboarding & retention.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, enterprises, eCommerce merchants, and financial institutions.


2. Industry Expertise & Solution Selling


• Leverage industry insights and best practices to sell cross-border payment solutions, and commercial card services.

• Develop customised proposals and solutions to meet client needs.

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor landscape, and customer pain points.


3. Compliance & Risk Management


• Work closely with the compliance team to conduct KYC and due diligence processes on customers.

• Stay updated on regulatory requirements in the Pakistan payment and fintech landscape.


For this role you should have:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably in fintech, payments, FX, or banking.

• Strong understanding of cross-border payments, treasury management, and commercial cards.

• Experience in pitching and closing deals with B2B, small, medium, and enterprise clients.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient in a startup or fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Not a must but a great advantage:

• Prior experience in B2B financial services, fintech, banking, or FX solutions.
