Business Development Manager - Outside Sales - Pakistan
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential clients to expand our customer base.
Maintain and build strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
Promote and sell freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, and ground transportation.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive pipeline growth and achieve sales targets.
Understand clients’ specific shipping needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare and submit bi-weekly and monthly sales reports to management, highlighting progress, key metrics, and client engagement updates.
Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape and potential business opportunities.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in the freight forwarding and cargo industry.
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and logistics processes.
Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on driving new business.
A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the air and ocean logistics industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Availability to work Canadian market hours.
