What you will do
As a Buyer in our Retail Department, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase order creation, inventory reconciliation, and coordination with suppliers. The role also involves close collaboration with the Data/OS team and Category Managers Fert & Pest to support the development of dashboards and reports that reflect accurate buying, inventory, and sales data.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order creation and tracking in the system for fertilizers and pesticides.
- Reconcile received inventory with purchase orders to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and track inventory movement against sales to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and timely order fulfillment.
- Close collaboration with category managers to ensure demand is timely and efficiently met.
- Define requirements for dashboards/reports and provide business context to the Tech team.
- Review dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and business relevance.
- Act as a liaison between Buying and Data & Engineering teams to resolve reporting gaps.
- Support management with periodic procurement and inventory performance reports.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Less than 02 years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain (agri experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good understanding of inventory and sales tracking.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
