Job Purpose
To lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for Paper & Board and Rigid Packaging Material segment of the PM Category for the Group. This will include identifying business need, market analysis, design approach to market and executing strategies developed by Category Lead and Post-Award Contract Management. Leading medium value negotiations for cost-effective contracts with key suppliers and close coordination with P2P Buyers for operational excellence. Execute all activities of Spend Category Management and Strategic sourcing ensure on time availability of material & services at optimum cost to the user base.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Support development of strategic short to long-term goals in line with business plans through effective Category and Strategic Sourcing Strategies impacting controllable P/L of Local and ID Business.
- Execute strategies for expansion/optimization of Supplier Base for each Category (locally and/or globally) based on deductions from market analyses resulting in optimal pricing, mitigating risk, reduction of lead times and improved supply network.
- Developing business for decisions based on Strategic sourcing activities of understanding business demand, external environment and supply market analysis, risk assessments and identification of opportunities for driving value.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
- Contribution in driving change through process improvements and changes in status quo to increase efficiency for procurement processes.
- Driving results through team of Procurement Managers & (P2P) Buyers, implementation of Category and Strategic Sourcing Strategies.
- Managing cross-functional team delivery for Spend Category Management Strategies.
- Contribute to enhancement of Procurement capability to address business needs.
- Monitor, address and escalate Risk through functional Risk Heat Maps.
- Execute Post Award Contract Management plans to ensure business continuity, appropriate risk management, and driving value through life of contract/long-term supplier relationship.
- Engage with relevant cross-functional team members periodically, at different levels for managing expectations, communicating developments, identifying and reporting out risks, presenting innovative supply chain solution/category strategies and building consensus
- Maintain relationships with Suppliers and Strategic Partners for managing relationship and driving value through collaboration and business partnering techniques as part of Supplier Relationship Management Plans.
- Maintain Supply market and external environment network for market intelligence both locally and globally.
- Ensure Supplier Performance Management through effect Post Award Contract/Relationship Management.
- Remain compliant to of Procurement Policy and/or other relevant policies that impact own area of work.
- Report out Risks for appropriate action
- Ensure implementation of all law/regulations-enforced clauses in contracts/terms of agreement.
