Client Success Manager

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working with data files and communicating with clients. They should understand common file formats, data structures, and be capable of identifying and troubleshooting data-related issues. This person will be responsible for managing file intake processes, maintaining documentation of client-specific data

rules, and working cross-functionally to ensure data integrity and workflow consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client file transmission and formatting issues

• Monitor and manage scheduled data file deliveries from clients

• Validate incoming files for structure, format, and compliance with client-specific processing rules

• Troubleshoot and resolve file-related issues in collaboration with clients and internal teams

• Document and maintain client-specific data requirements and processing protocols

• Track changes to data transmission rules and ensure internal systems/processes stay current

• Coordinate with IT, operations, and account management to align data processes with client needs

• Build strong, service-oriented relationships with client counterparts to foster proactive communication

• Provide training or guidance to clients on data format standards and submission procedures

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a data operation, client support, or technical account management role

• Strong understanding of file formats (e.g., CSV, Excel, XML, TXT, etc.) and basic data structure concepts

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

• Experience working with FTP/SFTP, automated file transfer protocols, or data validation tools is a plus

• Familiarity with the collections industry or financial services is a plus
