You will work under the guidance of the Finance Manager or Senior Analyst to maintain finance transactions, data, systems and reporting. You will also collect data and perform detailed checks/controls.

How You Will Contribute

You will:

  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and prepare data integrity checks
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
  • Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Finance Manager or Senior Analyst
  • Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers

More About This Role

  • Work with Sales, Category Planning & Activation (CP&A) and Finance team in closing all aged customer claims and deductions.
  • Preparation of sellout tracker for review, validation and follow up of Customer claims.
  • Maintain daily tracker of all trade related accruals and settlements.
  • Preparation of trends and trackers for all trade deals like Annual Visibility Scheme (AVS), Secondary Visibility, Opening Fees.
  • Liaising with the Sales team to gather Proof of Performance (POP) for trade activities in accordance with Mondelez guidelines.
  • Issue and account for Customer Credit Notes (CN) within agreed timelines.
  • Preparation of Business Development Agreement (BDA) Sales tracker and update and review it against the claims received from Customers and report if any variance identified.
  • Review of deductions posted in the system and verify them against the supports received from Sales team and timely communicate about the unidentified and/or wrong deductions.
  • Monitoring the flow of accruals in the system and inform regarding the reversals/true up if any, required.
  • Creation of Project in the system basis the project announcement details shared by CP&A team.
  • Assisting the Finance team in internal reviews, ad hoc projects and regional queries / reporting requirements.
  • Managing accruals and claims for trade advertisement and Consumers.
  • Month end closing activities related to commercial finance.
  • Contribute to strong controls and compliance environment, comply with Mondelēz International’s policies and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.

  • Ensure all CNs are issued timely by targeting the critical customers.
  • Proper tracking and monitoring of trade related accruals.
  • Ensuring effective and timely execution of the tasks delegated and ensure smooth month end closing without any task overlooked.
  • Ensure efficiencies and improvements in ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.

Education / Certifications:

MBA in Accounting and Finance or Part Qualified CA/ACCA/ICMA

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year experience in the field, preferably in FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of finance and reporting activities.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.


Travel requirements:

  • As per business requirement.
