You‘ll make a difference by

• Ensuring timely Project / order booking in SAP- defining revenue recognition method (SDI, CCM, POC), structuring projects, assigning partner roles, planning cost and revenue.
• Commercial Project Management and Controlling including ongoing analysis of deviations in planned vs actual.
• Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings, project reporting as the need arises.
• Performs asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms and ensure timely collection of Payments.
• Controlling of Advances, Guarantees & LCs towards Customer & Supplier / Contractors.
• Forecast and Reporting including support to BU Management in monthly/quarterly Forecast process related to Order Intake, Revenue, Gross Margin/Gross Profit, Cash Flows, project related provisions/accruals etc.
• Conduct regular assessments of project related provisions, accruals and risk contingencies based on proper documentation.
• Opportunity & Risk Management including identification and financial assessment of opportunities with PM, implementation of risk mitigation measures and realizing opportunities and ensuring precautions for remaining risks (provisions / risk contingencies according to IFRS).
• Manage Claims, Change Orders and Contracts, including contract reviews, commercial analysis of customer and supplier agreements for potential claims or variation orders, asserting valid claims, defending against unjustified ones and preparing claim documentation.
• Support internal & external project audits as required, and perform project close out activities
  
  

Your success is grounded in

• ACCA, MBA in finance or Advanced degree in Finance and Accounting
• More than 5 years of experience working in a commercial project execution & controlling
• Preferably Certified in CPM@Siemens
• Strong understanding of project controlling accounting / finance, contract & subcontract management, and supply chain management.
• Experience working on project/product teams supporting multiple projects and project managers and/or line managers
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally between departments
• Proactive and results oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize dynamic work activities.
• Good knowledge of SAP
• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – with advanced Excel skills
