Role Summary:
We are looking for a Content Writer who can develop engaging content in both English and Urdu for farmers and the rural community. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms and the ability to create impactful and audience-focused content.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative, relatable, and engaging content for social media platforms tailored to farmers and rural communities.
- Write compelling captions, taglines, articles, and digital copy for social media posts, awareness campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Translate and localize English content into Urdu, ensuring clarity, cultural relevance, and audience resonance.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and field teams to align content with campaign goals and brand voice.
- Create content for multiple platforms including Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, SMS, and printed materials used in field outreach.
- Conduct research to understand the needs, challenges, and communication style of the rural audience to develop audience-specific content.
- Monitor social media trends and engagement analytics to assess content performance and recommend improvements.
- Assist in creating storytelling pieces, case studies, or success stories from field teams that can be shared across digital and print formats.
- Maintain consistency in tone, language, and messaging across all content assets.
- Stay updated on agricultural topics, local issues, and seasonal patterns to ensure timely and relevant communication.
Must Have
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communication Studies or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu with strong writing skills.
- Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc.) and content trends.
- Ability to create clear, simple, and engaging content suited for the farming community.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of writing experience, preferably in agriculture, rural communication, or related industries.
