Costing & Management Reporting Specialist

Purpose of the Job:

The role ensures seamless month-end closing processes, maintains operational efficiency, and manage cost estimates within the SAP system. The role involves coordinating with the Tea Supply Chain and Production teams, running monthly cost estimates, and analyzing expenses. Additionally, it requires executing various closing steps and monitoring the impacts of actual costing on materials and profits.

Job Responsibilities:

Checks before closing:

• Check and make sure the completion of Production and Process orders in SAP at month end as per monthly closing process manual.
• Co-ordinate (if required) with Tea Supply Chain and Production for closing of Process & Production orders.
• Work and Issue MM detail list for verification of Versions and Keys etc.

Run the Monthly Cost Estimates:

• Month end analysis and Complete the Standard Cost Estimate release process.
• To cover and review all necessary steps to effective running of Material Ledger.
• Follow the complete manual for SCE in co-ordination with MDG team.
• Monitor and Verify the Price Change impact and reasons.

Month End Closing:

• Expense Analysis before closing.
• Execute the distribution cycle and assessments (CO).
• Check the impact after distribution and assessment in cost centers.

Execute the other steps in closing process in SAP:

• Splitting
• Revaluation of orders
• Price Calculation
• Order Settlement
• Variance Calculations
• Execute the COPA Cycle.

Execute the ML Cockpit:

• Run all the Actual Costing Steps.
• Review and Analyze the Impact on Live Run.
• Carry and monitor the impacts of Actual Costing on individual Material and Profits.
• Carry the Impacts and review and monitor the KE30 on PUP and Standard Basis.

Experience & Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or ACCA/ICMA certified.
• 3-5 years’ experience in relevant functional.
