Data Analyst

At Xcentric Services, we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist (minimum of 3-4 years experience)

Responsibilities:

· Analyzing financial data and presenting it to all Stakeholders

· Preparing Excel Dashboard and other required reports and projections based on Data

· Evaluating capital expenditures and asset depreciation.

· Establishing and evaluating records, statements, and profit plans.

A strong English communication level is a must, as you will be working directly with our US team and must communicate clearly and accurately in writing and in person with all stakeholders, analysts, developers, and other team members.

· Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations.

· Providing recommendations for improvement based on trends.

· Providing financial models.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.

· Proven experience in the financial industry.

· Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications like PowerBI & SQL.

. Develop high-quality, maintainable data pipelines using Python.

. Establish a Data Lake in AWS S3 using Parquet files providing interactive querying via Athena.

. Expertise working with relational databases, bonus points for PostgreSQL.

. You’ve ingested data from 3rd party systems, ideally with specialized tools such as Airbyte, Fivetran, or Meltano.

. You’re familiar with CI/CD best practices and take ownership of what you build end-to-end.

· Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.

· Proven financial forecasting and diagnosis knowledge, corporate finance, and information analysis.

· Proficient in Excel.

· Deep understanding of the financial system and institutions.
