  • Drive the technical roadmap and architecture of our products, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Oversee and guide the development across major stacks{{:}} Laravel, Node.js, React.js, and Python.
SaaS Product Oversigh

  • Lead product engineering efforts with a SaaS mindset — focusing on multi-tenancy, uptime, integrations, and platform reliability.
  • Ensure Shufti Pro's API-first architecture, modular microservices, and deployment strategies follow best practices.
  • Partner with Product Management to prioritize features and technical debt, with a focus on time-to-market and regulatory requirements.
Team & People Managemen

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams including backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and data.
  • Build a culture of performance, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify gaps in team capabilities and assist in recruitment, onboarding, and upskilling.
Security, Compliance & Qualit

  • Ensure systems meet industry standards for security (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS) and compliance (AML/KYC regulations).
  • Embed security and quality practices across CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Support regular audits, penetration testing, and code reviews.
Innovation & Strateg

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks for applicability to Shufti's vision.
  • Represent the tech team in strategic discussions with leadership, partners, and regulators.
  • Foster collaboration with AI/ML research teams for innovation in identity verification and fraud detection.
