Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager – Meter to Cash will play a key supporting role in enhancing and automating business processes within the Meter to Cash (M2C) cycle. The incumbent will assist in the execution of digitization initiatives, data analysis, user training, and process documentation, while working closely with IT, Distribution teams, and other stakeholders to ensure process continuity, compliance, and effectiveness.

Experience Required

2–4 years in Business Process Improvement, Process Automation.

Educational Qualification

BBA, Bachelors in Business/Analytics, or partial professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute digitization and process automation tasks within the Meter to Cash cycle as per defined project plans.
  • Conduct detailed process mapping and documentation aligned with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with Distribution and IT teams for data gathering, requirement clarifications, and system-related follow-ups.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) exercises, prepare test cases, and document findings for system enhancements.
  • Analyze operational data to identify process inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Track progress of ongoing initiatives and ensure timely escalation and closure of issues.
  • Prepare dashboards, governance reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, support audit documentation, and participate in field reviews where required.
  • Contribute to the preparation of training materials and conduct awareness sessions for end-users.

Skills & Competencies

  • Sound understanding of commercial processes, preferably in a utility or large-scale service organization.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems; knowledge of process mapping tools is an advantage.
  • Effective coordination and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to task ownership and follow-through.
