DevOps Architect, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD
Crossover
Date: 1 day ago
City: Karachi
Contract type: Full time
Remote
You're a DevOps engineer who focuses not on firefighting, but on preventing fires from starting. If you're energized by dissecting complex legacy infrastructure, architecting more efficient systems, and automating every manual process you find, this opportunity is for you. We need a DevOps and AWS infrastructure specialist who excels in high-pressure settings where 99.9% uptime is the baseline expectation. You'll operate across a portfolio of acquired products, each presenting unique challenges, transitioning them into a unified, scalable AWS environment while establishing monitoring and automation that genuinely reduces incident frequency.
Most organizations ask you to support one stack. We need you to unify and refine multiple stacks without causing disruption. Where others separate databases, we take a different approach, deliberately consolidating them to enhance cost efficiency and management simplicity across our product portfolio. This position isn't designed for someone content with maintaining existing infrastructure; it's built for someone who encounters a disjointed, inconsistent environment and immediately envisions how to improve it.
You'll have end-to-end ownership spanning infrastructure migrations through AI-powered automation, performance optimization, database transitions, and cost management. This includes identifying and resolving existing issues, strategizing and implementing smooth cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and leveraging AI/ML-driven workflows to automate significant portions of operational work. You'll possess genuine authority to make infrastructure choices—no extended waits for sign-off from stakeholders disconnected from technical realities.
If you're a self-directed problem-solver who enjoys unraveling complicated systems and ensuring flawless operation, this position will be highly rewarding. If you require substantial guidance, become stressed managing diverse technology stacks, or favor greenfield projects over transforming chaos into structure, this role won't suit you. If you're prepared to assume ownership of a high-impact infrastructure position with opportunities to build, refine, and automate at scale, submit your application now!
