Job Description - Subject Matter Expert (SME - Engineer Level)
Position Title: SME - Engineer Level
Disciplines: Electrical, Protection, Mechanical, Civil, SCADA, IT, Renewable Energy, Fire Protection, Instrumentation, Turbines, HRSG, Boiler, Piping, Tanks, OHTL, HVAC/HVDC, etc
Role Purpose
Support technical reviews, inspections, audits, document updates, and reporting activities. Assist Senior SME and Project Manager in ensuring compliance with technical standards and requirements.

Subject Matter Expert (SME - SPECIFIC DISCIPLINE)

Disciplines: Electrical, Protection, Mechanical, Civil, SCADA, IT, Renewable Energy, Fire Protection, Instrumentation, Turbines, HRSG, Boiler, Piping, Tanks, OHTL, HVAC/HVDC, etc
Role Purpose
Support technical reviews, inspections, audits, document updates, and reporting activities. Assist Senior SME and Project Manager in ensuring compliance with technical standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating inspection procedures, QA/QC templates, and governance documentation.
- Conduct inspections at factories and service locations.
- Perform technical assessments, testing reviews, and compliance verification.
- Participate in audits and support identification of non-conformities and improvement areas.
- Assist with NCR, RCA reviews, and action item tracking.
- Support reporting activities including generating inspection and audit reports.
- Ensure adherence to client communication protocols and document management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power Industry or similar.
- Minimum 5 years Middle East experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inspection standards and industry best practices.
- Electrical.

- Mechanical inclusive of but not limited to rotating assets, static assets, and pipelines.
