DevOps Engineer

Client company introduction:

A Pakistan based IT Service & IT Consultancy firm having 50 workforce strength, hiring from Lahore.

It aims to automate lives like it has not been known before.

Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer with at least 5 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and more.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and efficient release cycles.
• Ensure system security through best practices, monitoring, and automated alerting.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and deployment processes.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly ECS, Fargate, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub CI, GitLab CI, or Azure Devops Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog or Sentry Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience: 5+ years

Work Timings: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Work Days: Monday - Friday

Location: Lahore - Onsite
