Job Description
- Perform Echocardiograms: Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the heart’s chambers, valves, and blood vessels.
- Patient Preparation: Explain procedures, prepare patients, and ensure their comfort during the exam.
- Image Analysis: Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
- Assist Physicians: Provide preliminary findings to cardiologists and assist during stress tests or other diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it functions correctly.
- Documentation: Record patient data, maintain accurate reports, and ensure confidentiality in line with healthcare regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all protocols to ensure patient and personal safety during procedures.
