Job Description:

We are leading provider of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions optimize energy consumption, mitigate climate change impacts, and foster environmental stewardship. We are looking for an experienced candidate, with excellent writing skills, to lead energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change initiatives.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of energy usage and carbon emissions for clients in diverse economic sectors
• Conduct baseline and endline Energy Audits of industrial and commercial facilities
• Design and implement energy efficiency and climate change projects.
• Manage and oversee projects focused on improving energy efficiency across Industrial and commercial sectors
• Lead carbon footprint assessments for clients to quantify and analyze their greenhouse gas emissions across operational activities
• Identify IRECs and other renewable energy certificate opportunities for clients to procure renewable energy and offset their carbon footprint.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients in navigating carbon offset markets, renewable energy procurement strategies, and compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on sustainable energy solutions, renewable energy sources, and energy conservation measures
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules that reflect the objectives in energy efficiency and renewable energy
• Manage preparation and submission of detailed feasibility studies and assessment report for energy efficiency and climate change initiatives
• Liaise with stakeholders, including government bodies, environmental agencies, and certification agencies to ensure compliance and alignment with sustainable development goals.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and technologies in energy efficiency and climate change mitigation
• Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations and environmental legislation.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building within the project team and the broader organization regarding best practices in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy, resource conservation, and climate change projects.
• Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) and experience conducting carbon footprint assessments for organizations.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, including IRECs, Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience with national and international environmental and energy policies and regulations is a plus.
• The role involves a combination of office work and field visits, which may include travel to project sites.
• The candidate should be prepared to work in various settings and adapt to different cultural and environmental contexts.
