Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to support the trade planning processes including system planning within the Trade system, trade related data management in CRM, data modelling and dashboard development in Power BI, and developing sales performance reports and trackers. The role is to support day-to-day tasks of trade planning, data analytics and business development for trade marketing for assigned End Market.

Core Relationships Trade Planning Capability, Trade Excellence Function, End Market & System Vendors

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for Trade Systems Planning (SKU Assortment Optimization, Trade Coverage Planning etc) & route optimization to deliver efficient Route To Market approach.
  • Build Dashboards and interactive visual reports in Power BI.
  • Develop a manual explaining the parameters and KPIs of the developed dashboards.
  • Data Management through CRM tool to ensure database (Products, Resources, Interpersonal hierarchy) is maintained accurately.
  • Ensure accurate backend data, create activities for call execution, and adjust calendars for market holidays to generate reliable reports.
  • Collaborate with users and team members for improvement in systems and processes.
  • Ensure deployment of features for Trade Systems including supporting User Acceptance Test & tracking progress

ii. People

  • Work with end market to prepare, align, and support the planning process in Trade System and Power BI
  • Collaborate with Trade Platforms Team to ensure systems are well maintained.

Experience Required

ESSENTIAL (EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE)

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in trade marketing, Trade Process, field sales or account management in a FMCG company
  • Experience in route to market and trade systems / CRM tools.
  • Experience with use of Power BI for dashboard development and data modelling.
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal capabilities to efficiently engage with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Knowledge of trade planning process store assortment optimization and coverage planning
  • Skills in Data Modelling and Dashboard Development for performance reports in Power BI
  • Effective analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent ability in MS Office Applications, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelors in business/marketing or a related field
