As a Field Service Specialist at Siemens Energy, your day will be filled with hands-on, complex tasks involving gas turbines and generators. You will work on-site, tackling installation, maintenance, and repair projects while collaborating closely with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Your expertise will not only enhance equipment performance but also contribute to building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their operational success.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

As a Field Service Specialist at Siemens Energy, your day will be filled with hands-on, complex tasks involving gas turbines and generators. You will work on-site, tackling installation, maintenance, and repair projects while collaborating closely with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Your expertise will not only enhance equipment performance but also contribute to building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their operational success.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Perform specialized tasks on turbine and generator equipment during installations and repairs.
- Document all service activities, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy work procedures.
- Interface with customers to provide quality service and effective problem resolution.
- Assess equipment conditions and implement corrective measures based on established standards.
- Participate in semi-complex service calls, contributing to team knowledge and efficiency.
- Lead small work groups, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork.
- At least 2 years of experience in Field Service, with 1-2 years in maintenance of prime movers in power stations.
- Experience in breakdown maintenance and leading small teams (up to 5 people).
- Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Technical skills in assembly, disassembly, and hydraulic tightening equipment.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work shifts, including abroad.
- Strong initiative, teamwork, and a results-driven mindset.
