Finance/Data Analyst

SellerPrism specializes in managing and scaling private label brands on Amazon. With over a decade of experience in e-commerce and an expanding portfolio, we aim to streamline operations and make data-driven decisions. We are looking for a talented Finance/Data Analyst to enhance our financial and operational efficiency by creating reports, automating processes, and providing actionable insights.

Position Overview: The Finance/Data Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, data reporting, automating workflows using Google Sheets, BigQuery, and other tools, and supporting accounts payable processes. The role requires expertise in managing large data sets, generating detailed and actionable reports, and collaborating across teams to optimize decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis:
• Analyze financial performance and create detailed reports to monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial insights and forecasts to guide business decisions.
  
• Accounts Payable (AP):
• Manage and process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain detailed records of AP activities and provide regular reports to management.
  
• Data Reporting:
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs, sales trends, inventory levels, and other critical metrics.
• Generate custom reports as defined by management to support various business needs.
  
• Google Sheets and BigQuery Automation:
• Design and maintain Google Sheets for data tracking, analysis, and reporting.
• Implement automation solutions using Google Apps Script and integrations to streamline processes.
• Utilize BigQuery to handle large-scale data processing and analysis.
  
• Data Management:
• Collect, clean, and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Use tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and BigQuery to aggregate and organize data.
  
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with inventory, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure alignment on reporting and metrics.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and presentations for strategic planning.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and scripts) and Excel.
• Familiarity with BigQuery and SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Experience with data automation, preferably using Google Apps Script.

• Experience in e-commerce, especially with Amazon businesses.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
