Role Overview: The Financial Controller will play a key role in managing the financial health of our import-based operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial functions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. You will also work closely with the supply chain management team to ensure effective and efficient financial oversight of the supply chain operations. Your collaboration will contribute to streamlining financial processes and ensuring optimal cash flow for inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and import-related financial requirements. Provide strategic recommendations to CFO and Senior Management based on financial performance and market trends. Develop and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency. Manage cash flow, forecast financial needs, and implement cost control measures. Supervise a growing and dynamic finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Analyze business trends, operational costs, and profitability of imports, advising on improvements. Collaborate with the supply chain management team to ensure alignment between financial and operational objectives. Monitor inventory management and assist in optimizing the procurement, storage, and delivery processes to improve financial performance. Manage supplier payments, credit terms, and any financial negotiations with third-party suppliers to ensure cost efficiency. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements within the supply chain. Key Requirements:

Skills

ACCA Qualified (or equivalent). MBA in Finance or a related field. Proven experience of at least 5 years in a financial management role, preferably within an import-based business. Articleship from TOP 6 Firms in Pakistan will be an additional advantage. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Experience in supply chain financial management and inventory cost control. A team builder and worker who has exceptional organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy. Experience in managing and optimizing financial systems and processes. What We Offer:
