Training Overview
We are seeking a qualified freelance trainer to deliver a training program on ASME PCC-2, which covers methods and requirements for repair of pressure equipment and piping systems. The program will focus on repair techniques, inspection, testing, and compliance with international standards to enhance plant reliability, safety, and asset integrity.
Trainer Academic Qualification (Minimum)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Welding / Materials Engineering
- API 510 / API 570 / API 653 / ASME PCC-2 related certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of industrial experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical, or power sectors, with specialization in pressure equipment inspection, repair, and integrity management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ASME PCC-2 repair methods (welding, mechanical, composite, and temporary repairs)
- Fitness-for-service (API 579/ASME FFS-1) fundamentals
- Welding repair procedures & qualifications
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) & inspection methods
- Case studies from refineries, petrochemical plants, and pipelines
- Minimum 5 years of professional training delivery with reputable organizations.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, ISO, ASTM).
- Introduction to ASME PCC-2
