Full-Stack AI Engineer, Stealth Educational Startup (Remote) - $150,000/year USD
Trilogy
Date: 1 day ago
City: Remote
Contract type: Full time
Remote

You're not looking for another feature factory job. You want control of the architecture. Real product ownership. And the chance to build something technically ambitious, not just another CRUD app with a chatbot bolted on.
This role gives you all of that.
You'll lead engineering for a B2C app that teaches emotional intelligence (EQ) the way people learn hard skills: structured, measurable, and repeatable. It's a greenfield opportunity to define the tech stack, shape AI-powered feature design, and ship production-grade code. All without red tape, ceremony, or legacy constraints.
You won't be doing sprint planning theater or filling in Jira tickets. You'll be solo-building with full autonomy, in a closed loop with growth. Your job is to turn product goals into a technical reality and then own the result, from the first commit to production release.
This is where top 1% engineers go when they want full-stack control, direct user impact, and the mandate to move fast.
What You Will Be Doing
Deliver a new version of our EQ app by independently defining, building, and shipping high-quality user-facing features.
Basic Requirements
We are a stealth educational startup in Austin, TX (center of educational innovation in US). We are building an online community focusing on the most underserved customer base in US education - gifted and talented kids. We are a remote first company who hires globally via Crossover.
There is so much to cover for this exciting role, and space here is limited. Hit the Apply button if you found this interesting and want to learn more. We look forward to meeting you!
Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
