We're Hiring: Senior Backend Developer (NestJS + MySQL/PostgreSQL)

Location: Karachi (Onsite)

Shift: Night Shift 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Pakistan Time)

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Only

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in NestJS and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to join our clients growing engineering team. This is an onsite, night shift position based in Lahore, offering a fantastic opportunity to work with international clients on challenging and meaningful backend systems.

️ Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using NestJS

Write optimized SQL queries and manage databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA to deliver complete solutions

Create and maintain RESTful APIs

Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

35 years of professional experience in backend development

Strong hands-on experience with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript

Proficient with MySQL or PostgreSQL (database design, indexing, joins, query optimization)

Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and backend architecture

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and containerized environments

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Excellent communication skills (English written & verbal)

Important Notes:

This is a night shift job (8:00 PM 5:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time)

Onsite presence is mandatory no remote option
