You'll leverage AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing substantive challenges—not simply completing task lists. What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Guide user stories from concept through production impact; refine specifications, architect scalable implementations, implement both server-side and client-side logic, validate thoroughly, and release to live environments
• Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose problems using root cause methodology, address underlying issues (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent future regressions through strategic testing
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Assess technical plans and code submissions to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt accumulation from the outset

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
• Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
• Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years writing production-grade code for both frontend and backend components of web applications (framework-agnostic).
• Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams—beyond isolated task execution
• Self-directed execution: Capacity to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward through uncertain conditions

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
