Cogent Labs is seeking Generative AI Engineers to join our AI team in Lahore.

Job Type: On-site

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows (not just low-code/no-code automation platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier)
  • Additional 1 year experience with LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, or similar libraries/frameworks in Python
  • Worked on agentic workflows involving tool calling, autonomous decision-making, and AI action execution %u2014 not just passive content generation
  • Expertise in prompt engineering, including ReAct agents, structured prompting strategies, and context optimization
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine-tuning LLMs using both open and proprietary models
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including document parsing and producing structured outputs (e.g., using Pydantic models)
  • Comfortable using AI-powered developer tools or AI IDEs to assist in personal development workflows
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to build and scale innovative AI solutions

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to multi-modal systems %u2014 chat, voice, vision, or hybrid integrations
  • Experience working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, multi-agent pipelines, or agent-to-agent (A2A) coordination
  • Experience building or contributing to MLOps pipelines %u2014 shipping AI models from prototype to production
  • Direct client communication experience on at least one project

Soft Skills

  • Proactive, self-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments
