Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Management:
- Gather and organize HR data from various sources, including HRIS systems, performance reviews, employee surveys, and other relevant databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data cleaning and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to document data definitions and usage.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize statistical techniques and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) to analyze HR data and extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track HR performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate HR data findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Predictive Analytics:
- Employ predictive modeling techniques to forecast HR trends, identify potential risks, and anticipate future needs.
- Analyze employee attrition data to identify factors contributing to turnover and develop strategies to improve retention.
- Strategic Insights:
- Collaborate with HR leadership to translate data insights into actionable strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for talent acquisition, development, performance management, and other HR initiatives.
- Data Governance:
- Adhere to data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to protect sensitive employee information.
- Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR data analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing).
- Experience with HRIS systems and data warehousing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
