Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management:
  • Gather and organize HR data from various sources, including HRIS systems, performance reviews, employee surveys, and other relevant databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data cleaning and validation processes.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to document data definitions and usage.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) to analyze HR data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track HR performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate HR data findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Predictive Analytics:
  • Employ predictive modeling techniques to forecast HR trends, identify potential risks, and anticipate future needs.
  • Analyze employee attrition data to identify factors contributing to turnover and develop strategies to improve retention.
  • Strategic Insights:
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to translate data insights into actionable strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for talent acquisition, development, performance management, and other HR initiatives.
  • Data Governance:
  • Adhere to data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to protect sensitive employee information.
  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR data analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data warehousing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
