Key Responsibilities:
- Formulation of Internal Audit policy for the company
- To develop Audit procedures and checklists
- Verification and Reconciliation of all banking Transactions, Payments, Receipts and Financing. Ensure all Payments are in accordance with polices & procedures
- Audit of all Cash payments and Cash receipts as per Audit procedures and applicable polices Verification of recorded transactions to ensure compliances of policies and procedures, accounting principles, Accuracy and completion along with supporting evidences
- To ensure all Assets /Liabilities, Revenues and Expenses are booked in respective GL Accounts
- Reviewing of employees related policies & procedures to identify gaps in procedure and non-compliances of policies
- Pre-Audit of purchase orders by ensuring the policy and procedures
- Coordination with HOD to execute monthly, quarterly and any other special task
- Responsible for ensuring documentation of audit activities are in accordance with professional standard and use of appropriate tools, techniques, procedures and best practices
- Ensure accurate and timely identification and reporting of audit issues
- To recommend and assist in execution of scheduled external audits of financial and operational business processes
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA Inter
- ACCA would be an advantage
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in auditing, with a big accounting firm and ideally some experience in the construction sector
- Proficiency in MS Office, and ERP systems
