Background and Introduction:

Farmers Development Organization (FDO) is established in 1998 as a not for profit, non-governmental public interest organization and is “a company setup under section 42 of companies’ Act 2017 (Formerly Companies ordinance 1984)".

Currently, the Farmers Development Organization is one of the largest organizations in South Punjab in terms of outreach, staff, and development activities. The organization has operations all over the Punjab province. Farmers Development Organization strengthens the disadvantaged and vulnerable segments of society for the realization of their rights by means of collective action through social mobilization, capacity building, and facilitating the provision of basic amenities, livelihood support, and evidence-based advocacy. Farmers Development Organization is implementing various projects to improve socioeconomic, political, cultural, and technological aspects of society.

Farmers Development Organization (FDO) is implementing the CF-WRAP initiative in Islamabad, introducing Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) such as groundwater recharge wells, rooftop rainwater harvesting systems, constructed wetlands, and earthen wetlands for wastewater treatment. As part of the project’s communication and advocacy strategy, FDO aims to produce high-quality multimedia content to promote public understanding, strengthen institutional engagement, and highlight the scalability of NBS in Pakistan.

To support these objectives, FDO seeks to hire a professional Communications & Media Production Firm with expertise in animations, documentary production, stakeholder interviews, and broadcast media engagement.

Objective:

The objective is to engage a media and communications firm to conceptualize, produce, and deliver high-quality multimedia content that explains the technical models, captures stakeholder perspectives, documents project achievements, and amplifies advocacy messages on Nature-Based Solutions.

The selected firm will develop a series of technical micro animations, interview-based videos, TV talk shows, and a final project documentary.
