Role Description

The IP NOC Engineer will be responsible for network operations centre activities, network administration, troubleshooting, technical support, and network security to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 24x7 network vigilance along with second-level customer & network support for IP/Data, Voice, Cloud & Network security.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolution of network and customer-related issues within the prescribed TAT.
• Performing regular checks and backups on network infrastructure and ensuring up-time of monitoring tools.
• New service configurations and modifications as per prescribed procedure.
• Coordination and collaboration with internal as well as external partners for network-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and IP routing protocols (like BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, STP, VRF).
• VPN and Wireless etc.). Experience with Cisco, Huawei and Mikrotik is preferred.
• Strong experience in Cisco Routing and Switching including knowledge of Multicast, QoS, IOS Security and IPv6.
• Able to work independently and as a team player, high competency in multi-tasking, and ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelors in (Electrical/Electronic/Telecom Engineering or equivalent).
• Certifications (preferred): CCNA/CCNP/HCNA or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
• Flexible with working in shifts.
