Job Description
Mountainise Inc. is looking for a Junior MERN Developer with at least 2 years of experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing web applications, a solid understanding of JavaScript and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with modern development tools. A strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Work with MongoDB for database management, designing efficient schemas.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop responsive UI components with React.js.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Utilize Git for version control and maintain well-documented codebases.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in JavaScript development.
- 2+ years of experience as a MERN Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, or Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization and responsive design.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
