About the opportunity
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
- Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and key business drivers.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance on various projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function.
- Be hands-on with FP&A and controlling responsibilities.
What you need to be successful
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on FP&A and controlling.
- Proven experience in the retail, FMCG, or tech industry is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, ERP systems).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the food and grocery delivery industry and a strong work ethic.
