Role description
Role Proficiency:
Independently analyse and develop applications in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM systems. Design solutions under the supervision of an Architect along with managing a team
Outcomes:
- Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications Deployment documentation
- Perform design document reviews peer code reviews and suggest code improvements
- A single point of contact for the build and deployment issues and resolve them on time
- Learn technology business/system domain and as recommended by the project/account
- Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice related activities like (but not limited to) assembling content for case studies contributing to reusability coordinating internal seminars and conduct knowledge sharing sessions organizing sessions during and participating in hackathons etc.
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
- Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
- Optimize efficiency cost and quality.
- A self-learner implementing new features released in relevant technology wherever possible.
- Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimize application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Responsible for others' developmental activities
- Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
- Code debug test and document and communicates product/component/feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives integrates and commissions the overall solution.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction through things like (but not limited to) offering suggestions for code refactoring and improvements in business processes. complete sprint deliverables ahead of time helping client architects and product owners by way of design suggestions and/or explaining functionality to business stakeholders etc…
- Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams.
- Set goals in NorthStar and timely. measure progress and update accordingly.

Additional Comments:About the Role The Workday Absence and Time tracking functional lead (or architect) will be our "go to" AMS leader for all things Workday. You will be involved in all phases of Implementation, AMS Support and Delivery across UST customers and responsible for driving the engagement. We need a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair and a willingness to wear multiple hats! Together with practice leadership you will help build the UST Global Workday practice The Opportunity and Responsibilities: • Build out and develop our local and global Workday Absence and Time Tracking practice covering deployment, augmentation and AMS services • Work directly with clients and UST account teams around requirements gathering/ validation, design, testing and post-production support after deployment • Oversee team workload and serve as an escalation path for urgent or high priority issues and major requests. • Handle day-to-day team operations in identifying and establishing processes, standards, and key metrics as it relates to the roles focus areas. • Build and consolidate internal training materials and/or create pack for new functionality deployment & offering for client • Work effectively with team members to support client satisfaction and success • Work with internal UST product teams to leverage internal capabilities and accelerators What you need: • 8+ years of hand-on Workday and minimum of 5+ years of hands on in Absence/ Time tracking. Prior experience in related HRMS (e.g. Oracle, Peoplesoft) in a delivery or AMS/post-production support capacity is an added advantage. • Subject Matter Expertise in either of these areas: Absence/ Time Tracking • Have worked with and managed offshore Workday teams. Our goal is to build a strong offshore team to support our US/EMEA customers and teams and this role will have an important part in building this capability. • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, while not losing focus on quality • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage client expectations • Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams Bonus points if: • You have or were Workday certified in one or more HCM modules • Comes with experience on both Absence and Time Tracking
